For further information, please consult your local representative. For a fully MASH TL3-compliant guardrail barrier, we recommend the Ezy-Guard Smart W-Beam system.

FLEXBEAM guardrail is a semi-rigid roadside safety barrier that meets NCHRP-350 Test Level 3 standards. The system consists of W-Beam mounted on a post and block configuration, with minor adjustments to meet state-specific requirements. For a MASH TL3 and AS/NZS3845:2015 compliant W-Beam system, we recommend Ezy-Guard Smart.

In NSW, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia, a variant of the G4 W-Beam guardrail system is used, while Victoria and Tasmania utilize the Type B guard fence. The key difference lies in the post profile, with the G4 using a ‘C’ post and the Type B guard fence employing a ‘U’ post profile. For more details, please refer to the technical drawings.

The high visibility of FLEXBEAM guardrail enhances driver confidence, especially in low-visibility conditions like night or fog. The W-Beam guardrail clearly defines the safe travel limits, reducing dangerous centerline crowding.

Additionally, FLEXBEAM’s post and block design minimizes wheel snagging and the risks of vaulting or rollover. This feature makes FLEXBEAM guardrail ideal for use alongside raised medians and gutters, which can pose trip hazards, preventing vehicles from launching into or rolling over other barriers.
