EzyGuard LDS

Introducing the Ezy-Guard Low Deflection System (LDS), the latest advancement in the Ezy-Guard steel guardrail family. This innovative barrier offers solutions for MASH TL2, TL3, and TL4 containment levels.

Ezy-Guard LDS is crash-tested to MASH and AS/NZS 3845.1:2015 standards. MASH TL4 testing represents a 58% increase in impact energy over the old NCHRP-350 TL4. It withstands impacts from:

• 1,100kg car at 100km/h and 25 degrees • 2,270kg pick-up at 100km/h and 25 degrees • 10,000kg truck at 90km/h and 15 degrees

With a deflection of just 1.1m for both MASH TL3 and TL4, the system provides enhanced performance and safety. Its Z-post profile offers robust protection by shielding post edges and maintaining strength in challenging conditions.

The compact 245mm footprint, compared to the 585mm Modified Thrie-Beam, offers exceptional flexibility for road designers. The Ezy-LDS-Carriage secures Thrie-beam rails without additional blocking or stiffening plates, ensuring smooth vehicle containment and redirection.
