Ingal RBT

Roadside barriers are classified into three categories based on their stiffness: flexible, semi-rigid, and rigid. When barriers with significantly different stiffnesses need to be joined, a stiffness transition is essential to mitigate risks such as vehicle rollover, pocketing, or rail rupture.

The Ingal® RBT is a MASH Test Level 3 compliant transition designed to connect semi-rigid barriers to rigid concrete structures. The transition length is 6m for Ezy-Guard 4 and 8m for Ezy-Guard HC. It has been crash tested in accordance with the Austroads SBTA 21-005 Transition standards.
