The MAX-Tension® Guardrail End Terminal is an advanced, energy-absorbing, tangential end terminal designed to mitigate the impact severity at the end of safety barrier systems.

Key Features:

  • Innovative Design: Utilizes tensioned cables combined with Sabertooth™ technology for controlled vehicle containment upon head-on impacts. The narrow design of the impact head, featuring a highly visible yellow nosecone, minimizes the risk of nuisance impacts.

  • Compliance: Meets MASH TL3 and TL2 standards and is accepted by the Austroads Safety Barrier Assessment Panel (ASBAP). It also adheres to AS/NZS 3845.1 Road Safety Barrier Systems & Devices.

  • Impact Management: Effectively dissipates impact energy through its unique combination of technologies, ensuring safety across various collision scenarios.

    • MASH 3-31: 2270kg Pick-up Truck at 100km/h, 0 degrees, Nose

    • MASH 3-33: 2270kg Pick-up Truck at 100km/h, 5 degrees, Nose
    • MASH 3-34: 1100kg Passenger Car at 100km/h, 15 degrees, Post #2
    • MASH 3-35: 2270kg Pick-up Truck at 100km/h, 25 degrees, Post #3
    • MASH 3-37: 2270kg Pick-up Truck at 100km/h, 25 degrees, Reverse
  • Approved Connections: Compatible with Sentry W-Beam and Sentry Thrie-Beam Guardrails.
