Ramshield Transition

The RamShield® Transition is a MASH TL3 compliant system designed to seamlessly connect steel guardrail barriers with rigid structures like bridge parapets. It ensures a smooth transition by gradually increasing the stiffness of the safety barrier, which helps reduce vehicle pocketing and enhances redirection.

The system releases the thrie-beam guardrail from the post at an optimal load to maintain rail height, limit dynamic deflection, and allow the post to collapse without causing vehicle tripping.
